이 슈퍼 란도니는 한국에서 가장 역사적이고 문화적으로 풍요로운 도시 안동에서 시작하고 끝납니다. 경상북도의 오지와 숨막히는 길에서 도전적인 모험을 하게끔 설계되었습니다. 이 코스는 낙동강을 따라 북동쪽으로 도시를 빠져 나와 영양시를 지나 청송 방향으로 내려갑니다. 초반의 250km는 더 큰 업힐을 대비한 워밍업에 좋은 적당한 크기의 업힐들로 채워져 있습니다. 주왕산 국립공원 남단을 지나 동해안으로 내려가면 산악구간에서 잠시 빠져나와서 짧은 해변 크루즈를 즐기며 휴식을 취할 수 있습니다. 그 후 다시 내륙으로 향하고 가파른 경사의 시멘트 길을 약 800m 가까이 오르면 맹동산 꼭대기의 거대한 풍력발전단지가 보입니다. 이어 칠보산 자연휴양림을 둘러싸고 있는 조용한 도로를 따라 북쪽으로 가면서 곧 나올 짧은 그래블 구간을 대비해야 합니다. 이 코스에서 가장 고도가 높은 일월산은 평온한 숲을 지나 서서히 올라가면 정상이 나옵니다. 영주시를 지나 소백산 국립공원의 서쪽 구간을 통과하면 도착점이 가까워지며 긴 여정의 마지막에 악명 높고 강력한 학가산을 넘어야 합니다. 

SR-06 대머리독수리는 우리나라에서 가장 달리기 좋은 도로와 고요한 환경을 갖춘 코스이며, 다리 근력의 한계를 시험하고 영혼을 재충전 할 기회를 줄 것입니다.

This super randonnée starts and finishes in Andong, one of Korea’s most historic and culturally rich cities. It is designed to be a challenging adventure which affords riders access to some of the most remote and breathtaking roads in North Gyeongsang Province. The course exits the city in a northeast direction following the Nakdong River and then passes through the city of Yeongyang before heading south in the direction of Cheongsong. The first 250K is filled with numerous medium-sized passes which provide a steady warm-up for the larger climbs to come. After passing through the southern section of Juwangsan National Park, the course descends to the east coast giving riders a short seaside cruise and brief break from the mountains. Shortly thereafter the course brings riders back inland and gains nearly 800 meters as it uses a series of steep exposed concrete ramps to access the giant wind farm atop magnificent Maengdongsan. The route then proceeds on quiet roads skirting the Chilbosan Natural Recreation Forest where riders should be prepared to tackle a short gravel section as they push north and later climb gradually though a calm forest to the top of Ilwolsan, the highest point of the ride. The course then pushes west through the city of Yeongju and Sobaeksan National Park before turning back toward the finish. The rider must then navigate a series of rigorous climbs before finally tackling the final climb of the ride, the infamous and formidable Hakgasan. SR Bald Eagle is a demanding undertaking featuring some of the finest roads and most serene surroundings South Korea has to offer. It will truly test the legs and recharge the soul.
