Two times in 2007 I went from Munich straight to my home town Busan with a stopover in Seoul. The second time the flight started in 2007 but ended in 2008, it was on December 31st. It remained unclear to me where and when exactly the new year had started, it must have been either near Irkutsk or the new year had started already when entering the Mongolian airspace. On the announcer, the pilot wished all passengers a happy new year.
